The Kenya Wildlife Service invites eligible and qualified service providers to submit bids for provision of Cleaning and Ground Maintenance services at the KWS Headquarters, for a period of 2 years from December 2008 to December 2010.

Tender documents containing detailed specifications can be obtained from the Procurement and Supplies Office at the KWS Headquarters between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 2,000.00. Candidates may also download a PDF solicitation document by clicking here and pay the non-refundable fee in bankers cheque or enclose the KWS official receipt with their applications as evidence of having made the required payment.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Kshs. 10,000 from reputable banks or authorized insurance companies.

A pre-bid meeting and inspection of site will be held on 6 November 2008, at 10.00 am, at the KWS Headquarters’ main reception.

Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender number and the description of services, should be addressed to:-

and deposited in the tender box at the entrance of Simba Court, KWS Headquarters, Lang’ata Rd, not later than 12.00 noon on 20th November 2008. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter at the Kenya Wildlife Service office in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
