Animal: Lion
Nick Name: Malaika

This is the oldest lion in the orphanage.20years of age and weighs around 250 kgs.

Animal: Lion
Nick Name: Gabbie

She is one of the big cats in the orphanage and was brought from Solio ranch on the 11th of November 2007. She was adopted by Mr. Gulamabbas Mohhamedali from Tanzania on the 23rd June 2010. She is very healthy and doing well.

Nick Name: Mutuku

After being brought in from the Meru National Park on the 1st of August 2010 being only three months old, she was adopted by one of the orphanage staff members, Godfrey Mutuku, who decided name her after himself.

Nick Name: Rachael

She was rescued from Tsavo East ILTILARA area of Kuku conservancy on the 4th of February 2011 being only a month old. It is currently fairing on very well.

Nick Name: Safi and Jambo

Both came from Samburu National Reserve when they were 7 months old. Safi was adopted by Miss Rosemary Odinga daughter to the Prime Minister Republic of Kenya, the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga.

Jambo was adopted by Kenya Tourism Board.

Jewel was rescued at Mukoma road next to Banda gate of Nairobi National Park on the 9th of September 2011 when it was 4 months old. It is currently very healthy.

She was adopted by Caroline Coralie on the 17th of February 2012.

Nick Name: Sneaky

Sneaky was brought into the orphanage in the year 2001 from the Carnivore Restaurant septic pool. The 11 year old carnival is protective of his pool of his territory and quite often likes to tease orphanage staff when they come clean the pool.

Nick Name: Marcel(Spotted Hyena)

Marcel was born at Nairobi Safari Walk in October 2005.He was brought to the animal orphanage on 16th January 2006 and named Marcel. He made great friends with Muriu who has since died.

Nick Name: Agwambo

The name was given to him by his foster parent, the Rt. Hon. Prime minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga who adopted it while launching the animal adoption program. He was brought in from Samburu National reserve in 2010.
