KWS management announce top-level staffing changes
Date Published: 05 Feb, 2013
Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) management on Friday (February 1, 2013) asked two senior officers, Mr Peter Leitoro ( Deputy Director Security) and Mr Benjamin Kavu (Deputy Director Wildlife and Community), to take leave to facilitate internal investigations into the wildlife security situation.
Consequently, the management also reviewed the current deployment of Senior Assistant Directors, Assistant Director and Field Operations Commanders and decided to effect their transfers. This is aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
It's important to clarify that no member of staff has been interdicted.
The affected officers are required to handover their current responsibilities and report to their new Areas/Offices immediately.
