Suspected Poacher Arrested

April 2006

Security officers from the Kenya Wildlife Service on April 2006 at around 11:00pm arrested a suspect Mr.Njoroge Mutaha , who was caught with three python skins, two serval cat skins and one leopard skin. the suspect will be taken to court to answer charges of being in posession of game trophies without a authority from the Government.

"This is a sign that we have intensified wildlife security operations in the country and we are sending a stern warning to anyone dealing with wildlife crime, that the law will deal harshly with them," a security officer warned.
