African Fish Eagle

Conservation Status:	Least Concern

This bird closely resembles the American bald Eagle, but is best known for its very distinctive haunting cry. A massive raptor and formidable hunter, the fish eagle uses its rear talons to pull fish from the water. The fish eagle also preys on flamingos and other wetland birds.
