Tourist Vehicles Stickers and Tour Driver Guides Licences

We have observed with alot of concern, that there are some Tour Operators who, occasionally, resort to using unlicensed tour driver guides, resulting to substandard service to tourists.

It has further been noted that there are tour operators who use vehicles with no or with Invalid Tourist Vehicle Stickers for tourists' transportation, contrary to the provisions of the Tourist Industry Licensing Act CAP 381 Laws of Kenya.

Kenya Wildlife Service is therefore enforcing these Laws in line with our vision and mission and in accordance with the Act.

All Tour Driver Guides are required to obtain Driver Guide Licenses, while Tour Vehicles/Vans (including shuttles) are required to have Valid Tourist Vehicle Stickers at all times. Otherwise KWS will deny them entry into National Parks and Reserves under our jurisdiction.
